Hey everyone, welcome to another exciting edition of Art/ist Round-up.
My 5 discoveries this week, in no particular order, are:
‘fazmatica’ by Onyro
I’ve been a long-time admirer of Onyro. Each piece is a beautiful, dream-like vision that fills me with a sense of wonder, and ‘fazmatica’ is no different.‘Blossom in the Dark 2’ by MCHX
MCHX is a recent discovery and one that I fell in love with immediately. What drew me in was the Rothko-esque composition and use of colour. Beautiful and hypnotic.‘We Are’ by José Gasparian
José is an artist I have long admired and I’m thrilled to hold a number of his pieces in my collection. His new series ‘We Are’ is a bold, colourful expression partnered with an elegant simplicity that I can’t take my eyes off.‘Aikebana N°117’ by Studio Brasch
‘Aikebana’ from Studio Brasch is a collection of works that always stops me in my scroll. Each form is unique and beautifully curated. I love the organic feel to N°117 and the balance of soft and harsh textures.‘Black Mile’ by Jack Kaido
We end this week with ‘Black Mile’ by Jack Kaido. My tastes in painting usually lean towards the more organic, but this digital abstraction immediately caught my attention. I really like the balance of colour and use of glitch and distortion, there’s a tendency to use these tools with a heavy hand, but Jack brings a considered touch that I appreciate.
Hope you’ve enjoyed this week’s edition of Art/ist Round-up.
