Hello and welcome back to Art/ist Round-up.
This week’s top 5 discoveries (in no particular order) are:
‘Green Flag’ by @synchrodogs
Kicking things off this week with ‘Green Flag’ by Synchrodogs. This work from Roman Noven and Tania Shcheglovai immediately caught my eye. I really like how it leans into the surreal whilst remaining grounded in the natural world. I can’t tell what is real or artificial; this only adds to my enjoyment of the work.

I’m a big fan GSON. I love their use of colour and mark-making. Each abstract work has a beautiful flow that always draws me in. ‘Tempest #3’ is a wonderful example of the artist’s work, and is a painting I come back to time and time again. An artist who should be on your radar.

I recently discovered Alizé’s photography while scrolling my feed. ‘Home is where the heart is?’ immediately stood out to me. The composition is filled with straight lines, this and the surreal colour palette, help draw the viewer’s eye to the central figure as they cling to the structure. I highly recommend checking out the collection ‘Growing Pains’.

↳ View here‘Elements #10’ by @MarcoBonafe_nft
This body of work “navigates the intersection of traditional abstract art principles with the visual language of our digital age”. While some works in the digital space are quite literal with their usage of UI elements, I really like how Brutal.ETH has abstracted them here. I love the collection as a whole, but ‘Elements #10’ really stood out. I love the varying sizes in the marks and the colour palette. Highly recommend checking out the full collection.

Closing out this week’s newsletter with ‘Flower Garden (Wildflowers)’ by @adam_disbrow. I’m a big fan of Adam’s and love how he presents physical works in the digital space. This piece in particular stood out with its striking colour palette and inclusion of floral motifs. One to add to my wishlist.
