Good morning everyone and welcome to the first edition of Art/ist Round-up.
This week’s 5 discoveries, in no particular order, are:
'daydreaming, rural scene, from a car' by Tony Wallstrøm
I’ve long been a fan of Tony’s work and proud to say I have a number of pieces in my personal collection. I always find his exploration of different mediums for mark-making an inspiration.‘The Yellow Star’ by BSD
BSD recently came onto my radar with ‘The Light of Hope’. I love the Rothko-esque use of colour, made with noise textures in Photoshop. This latest piece has a wonderful balance of colour and vibrancy.‘Lonely Wolf’ by Arunas Kacinskas
Something a little different from my usual taste. I really love the colour and brush choices. Each illustration is fully digital but feels like it could be a linocut print. A new artist in this space who is well worth checking out #DriveVibes.‘Serendipity I’ by Valeriana la infusión
Yummy colours. Great composition. Digitally native art. Need I say more?‘Immersion III’ by Cristina Rosa
This piece catches your attention and doesn’t let go. Not every piece is like that, but this one from Cristina makes you stop, stare, and appreciate the artistry and technical ability. It feels like a puzzle waiting to be solved.
Hope you’ve enjoyed reading the first edition of Art/ist Round-up.
If you’d like to submit a piece for consideration please DM me on Twitter.
I’d love it if you could check out my latest generative project ‘Sketchbook’ on Foundation. I really like this project and hope you do too.
Since this project is generative and has a higher volume, I’ve priced them at 0.08 ETH to make them more affordable.
